What there is, is the guide we wish someone had handed us at twenty-seven — when we’d stood in a shop twice, put the same chain down twice, and walked out both times without being able to say why.
It wasn’t the money. It was not being able to answer the question we knew someone would eventually ask.

It isn’t ready. The first samples came back from the workshop wrong — the clasp was nearly twice the width of the chain it was holding together, which nobody would notice except the man wearing it, every day, for years. So we started that part again.
